An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Urki in the 5th minute of play forced Rangel AFC's goalkeeper Honorio Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jáchal FC booed when Rangel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Severino Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Rangel AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jáchal FC:s goal. Severino Etxekopar might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Etxekopar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Jáchal FC's Felipe Ritchie got a free kick in the 25th minute. Andres Cordairos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Orlando Galeno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jáchal FC's Orlando Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Cordarrell in the 37th minute of play. Robustiano Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Mambru having to interfere. Honorio Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Andres Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rangel AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Cordairo couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Severo Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Severino Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Etxekopar in the 60th minute of the match. Carmelo Favila charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Favila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Rangel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Larra to maneuver through the defense. Andres Cordairo charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Cordairo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Rangel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Cordairo. Robustiano Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Mambru having to interfere. Rangel AFC's Honorio Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Rangel AFC from getting a goal against them. If Robustiano Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Urki might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robustiano Urki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Robustiano Urki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorio Mambru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Urki got free with Honorio Mambru in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jáchal FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
