The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaston Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Hipolito Kepa made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Eliseo Pudes sent off a good shot on target. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Cecilio Celipe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Prospero Karmel hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Enzo Oriche fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chepes's protests and gave Enzo Oriche a yellow card for diving instead. Enzo Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Perdido's Romeo Columbo tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Celedonio Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hipolito Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Pudes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Hipolito Kepa made a huge save. Gaston Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Ugutz in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Perdido booed when Chepes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Suero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Aznaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cecilio Celipe to strike the kick off in the second half. Cecilio Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gaston Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perdido's goalkeeper Gaston Claus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hipolito Kepa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Aznaro went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cecilio Celipe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Claus having to make a save. Hipolito Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Pudes in the 81st minute of the match. Abelardo Ugutz struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gaston Claus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chepes. 87 minutes into the game, Abelardo Ugutz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gaston Claus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enzo Oriche was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Chepes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
