Froilan Indartsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Gartzen in the 7th minute of play. Froilan Indartsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of Malbrán AFC booed when Totoral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Evarado in the 11th minute of play forced Totoral's goalkeeper Froilan Indartsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Leheren came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Totoral's Leonardo Fidele. But to his dismay, Leonardo Fidele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Totoral's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Evarado came free, but Froilan Indartsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes, Paolo Loiola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malbrán AFC and the Totoral players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malbrán AFC's Paolo Loiola got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Romeo Firmin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malbrán AFC's goalkeeper Filiberto Leheren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Paolo Loiola was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. In the 29th match minute, Malbrán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Loiola to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Firmin charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Firmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Totoral getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Romeo Firmin hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Romeo Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totoral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Firmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes in the game, Romeo Firmin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filiberto Leheren having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Romeo Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totoral's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Firmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Leheren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Leheren having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Leonardo Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totoral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Fidele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th match minute, Malbrán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Bernard to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes in the game Jesus Abajas got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Gartzen to make the kick off. Eduardo Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Fidele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Fidele in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Totoral's goalkeeper Froilan Indartsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Totoral's Froilan Indartsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Totoral from getting a goal against them. Froilan Indartsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
