Aldo Montess short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Baltasar Sustrai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Teodosio Rudolfo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cóndor AFC's zone, David Quilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Roldan came out of the goal and David Quilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Rosendo Nabar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción and the Cóndor AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cóndor AFC booed when Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Nabar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Concepción's Baltasar Sustrai got control of the ball when Aldo Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Santo Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Samuel Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cóndor AFC's goalkeeper Erubiel Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santo Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Sustrai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Concepción fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Concepción's goalkeeper Baltasar Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cóndor AFC had won after a very even match.
