Sueldos's Eliseo Madeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Edorta in the 3rd minute of play. Conrado Christobal charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Christobal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Conrado Christobal kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rogelio Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Galeno having to interfere. Donato Baleren charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Baleren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16thth minute of the game Donato Baleren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranelagh FC's Godfredo Galeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Godfredo Galeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rogelio Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Ranelagh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Baleren came free, but Godfredo Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sueldos's Lázaro Asteri got a free kick in the 28th minute. Pablo Peio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Peio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ranelagh FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Pablo Peio hit a great ball. After 35 minutes, Rogelio Clementi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ranelagh FC's Godfredo Galeno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidro Edorta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Madeo having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Ranelagh FC booed when Sueldos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sueldos's zone, Isidro Edorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Madeo came out of the goal and Isidro Edorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Baleren struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Godfredo Galeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sueldos. Ranelagh FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donato Baleren 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. 67 minutes into the game, Benito Arnalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sueldos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranelagh FC the free kick. Benito Arnalt hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Isidro Edorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ranelagh FC's Godfredo Galeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Ranelagh FC from getting a goal against them. Godfredo Galeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Baleren's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Ranelagh FC's Conrado Christobal got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Benito Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sueldos's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Arnalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Galeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes in the game, Donato Baleren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Godfredo Galeno having to interfere. Godfredo Galeno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Clementi in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sueldos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
