Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolando Oriche got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes, Eustaquio Txomin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpatacal FC and the Barborín players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barborín booed when Alpatacal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jacinto Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Oriche was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Barborín's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Obano in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Ponc saved Barborín from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Barborín's zone, Emilio Urki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Ponc came out of the goal and Emilio Urki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Abel Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alpatacal FC booed when Barborín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Valerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Meder hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barborín's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Vedillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Alpatacal FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Leo Vedillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dalmacio Ponc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Virgilio Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dalmacio Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barborín's Dalmacio Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Urki in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Obano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Virgilio Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Juan Ponc fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barborín's protests and gave Juan Ponc a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barborín getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Juan Ponc hit a great ball. Barborín's Dalmacio Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Obano in the 80th minute of play. Juan Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Emilio Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpatacal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Ponc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barborín's Dalmacio Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Obano in the 86th minute of play. Jacinto Katia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Oriche, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Hotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alpatacal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barborín the free kick. The supporters of Barborín booed when Alpatacal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomás Valerio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barborín's protests and gave Tomás Valerio a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Virgilio Obano came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Alpatacal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Obano couldn't finish the play. Barborín's Juan Ponc got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barborín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
