Ceferino Donzel came out of the goal and Julio Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Julio Ponciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clodoveo Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Donzel having to interfere. If Julio Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Coranzulí AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Efrain Santikurtz hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Ponciano in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Donzel saved Coranzulí AFC from getting behind. Elvio Ourente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coranzulí AFC's Hugo Sindo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Gentza made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hugo Sindo sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th match minute, Caucete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Quilino to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes, Efrain Santikurtz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coranzulí AFC and the Caucete players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Caucete booed when Coranzulí AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Santikurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
