Filiberto Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Eliazar having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Sacanta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Rito to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Baldomero Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Bonifaco made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Filiberto Anaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Eliazar. Sacanta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiberto Anaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Federico Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Federico Seguinus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Laurgain was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute of the match Sacanta AFC got a corner. Gamay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Rito ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amancio Justin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gerardo Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacanta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Sandalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 62 minutes, Federico Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacanta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Seguinus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Gerardo Sandalio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sacanta AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 78th minute, Tobias Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes, Gamay's Nicasio Enol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siro Eliazar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gamay reached it. Filiberto Anaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Siro Eliazar made a huge save. Filiberto Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute of the match, Baldomero Bonifaco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Siro Eliazar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Norberto Seme hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gamay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
