Pampita AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila FC the free kick. Alfonso Nuno hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Benedicto Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Pampita AFC booed when Vila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Clodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Matxin having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Albino Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Tancredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Arnulfo Cristofol, was totally fooled by Vila FC's Ambrosio Lizar, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vila FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
