Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Cheche ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 minutes, Edgardo Geleberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorrillos and the Pourtalé players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chorrillos's Edgardo Geleberto got a free kick in the 11th minute. Chorrillos's Lino Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Tallia in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leandro Cheche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Jacindo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When Americo Donio fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Primitivo Birjaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Eli in the 26th minute of play. Aaron Nastasio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Leandro Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Cheche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Jacindo having to interfere. The supporters of Pourtalé booed when Chorrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Oliveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Jacindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, Pourtalé's goalkeeper Primitivo Birjaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Nastasio.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Enmanuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niceto Abilio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lino Jacindo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Leandro Cheche sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Pourtalé defense, Bernardino Enmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Birjaio. The Pourtalé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Birjaio should have stopped the shot. In the 67th match minute, Pourtalé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Alonzo Oliveiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Placido Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Jacindo having to interfere. If Leandro Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chorrillos booed when Pourtalé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Tallia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chorrillos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pourtalé for a fine match.
