In the 7th minute Leopoldo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Apóstoles AFC's zone, Leopoldo Veremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Raymundo came out of the goal and Leopoldo Veremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benedicto Jacob came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Yocsina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Jacob couldn't finish the play. Apóstoles AFC's Baldomiro Raymundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Veremundo in the 21st minute of play. Cipriano Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rafael Cresenciano's late challenge caught a Apóstoles AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Cresenciano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Yocsina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Goizeder was the one to do the kick off. Cesar Selmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Raymundo having to make a save.
