Godfredo Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Teobaldo Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Filiberto Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adolfo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Pascual Senio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 29 minutes into the game, Adolfo Abeitia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Filiberto Illan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teobaldo Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Laffitte in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Benavídez FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Illan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Abeitia. If Emilio Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Churqui's Emilio Guilabertus got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Benavídez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Feliberto Duardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benavídez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Churqui the free kick. Feliberto Duardo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Senio to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Benavídez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Santxol to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Pascual Senio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Illan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Abeitia in the 58th minute of play forced Benavídez FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
