Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Bernebe in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Christobal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornelio Sugar struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Esteve Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naschel FC. 35 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Maule was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naschel FC the free kick. A collision led to Talleres FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Bernebe made a kick off.
