Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Geronimo Hori started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Jesco in the 8th minute of play forced Huyamampa's goalkeeper Anastasio Cisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Cisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sarmiento's Jaime Txema got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Ticho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Edgard Guillerme made a huge save. Anselmo Gaitan's late challenge caught a Sarmiento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Gaitan helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the match, Huyamampa's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Matxin came free, but Anastasio Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huyamampa's Anastasio Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Matxin in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Huyamampa's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Matxin came free, but Anastasio Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Txema in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Sarmiento's goalkeeper Edgard Guillerme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Ticho. With a little luck, Sarmiento's Edgard Guillerme got control of the ball when Genaro Ticho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaime Txema's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Cisco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Genaro Tichos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Edgard Guillerme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Txema to make the kick off. Amador Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Fulgencio Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56thth minute of the game Jaime Txema who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huyamampa's Anastasio Cisco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Sarmiento's Jaime Txema sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Cisco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Jaime Txema had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Bernebe during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Huyamampa:s Anastasio Cisco showed great skill when he stopped Jacinto Firman:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento's Tiburcio Gilabert got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 79 minutes, Rolando Burni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento and the Huyamampa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Rolando Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Genaro Ticho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Guillerme came out of the goal and Genaro Ticho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Geronimo Hori notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sarmiento's Edgard Guillerme. Edgard Guillerme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Matxin got free with Anastasio Cisco in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anastasio Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huyamampa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarmiento had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
