Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atilano Fidencio started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Benítez FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Mederi. 4 minutes into the match, Adan Mederi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teobaldo Lopez, 1-0. Adan Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Lopez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Remedios's Leandro Malvin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Erubiel Piorno hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Serafin Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Malvin struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Teobaldo Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Remedios. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Fidencio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Lopez saved Benítez FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Remedios defense, Silverio Maraman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Rufo. The Remedios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Rufo should have stopped the shot. When Erubiel Piorno came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Benítez FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Piorno couldn't finish the play. If Atilano Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Maraman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafin Rufo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Maraman went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Erubiel Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Rufo having to interfere. With his leg Serafin Rufo managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Benítez FC's Erubiel Piorno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Remedios's Adan Mederi in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benítez FC's goalie prevented a goal. Benítez FC's Teobaldo Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Mederi in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Adan Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Remedios's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Mederi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Remedios's Atilano Fidencio in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benítez FC's goalie prevented a goal. Teobaldo Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Mederi in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute Adan Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Fabian Gagriel notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Benítez FC's Teobaldo Lopez. Teobaldo Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Adan Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Benítez FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Benítez FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
