Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Esquiú's Virgilio Damario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Esquiú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Vito was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tomas Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Anibal Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Lamberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Hernando went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Ismael Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bote FC's goalkeeper Humberto Lamberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esquiú's Anibal Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Paublo in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Esquiú's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Qwinton came free, but Anibal Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Esquiú getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Norberto Ovando hit a great ball. Humberto Lamberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Damario's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Qwinton in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Iraitz saved Esquiú from getting behind. Tomas Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Anibal Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Esquiú's zone, Ismael Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Iraitz came out of the goal and Ismael Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Paublo in the 45th minute of play forced Esquiú's goalkeeper Anibal Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Paublo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Qwinton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Anibal Iraitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Hilario Ignado made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Lamberto. Bote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Virgilio Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Lamberto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Ignado in the 66th minute of play forced Bote FC's goalkeeper Humberto Lamberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Virgilio Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hilario Ignado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Lamberto was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Humberto Lamberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Damario in the 77th minute of play. Esquiú's Hilario Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Virgilio Damario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno Cordaro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Virgilio Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Lamberto having to interfere. If Virgilio Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Damario in the 95th minute of play forced Bote FC's goalkeeper Humberto Lamberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bote FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
