Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Berutti AFC's Raul Ostadar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto Toro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Araoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Cristo Elodio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Inocencio Franco fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concepción's protests and gave Inocencio Franco a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Franco. In the 32nd minute Nunez Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Cordarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Nunez Chayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gaudencio Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Toro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Bernardo Araoz made a huge save. The supporters of Concepción booed when Berutti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Bertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concepción's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Basilio Lauaxeta in the 43rd minute. The corner led Concepción's Basilio Lauaxeta to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Araoz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Berutti AFC's Bernardo Araoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Berutti AFC from getting a goal against them. Roberto Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Braulio Bertin's late challenge caught a Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Braulio Bertin got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 58 played minutes Berutti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Mendiko. Concepción's Basilio Lauaxeta took a good shot, in the 59th minute, which hit the crossbar above Bernardo Araoz's head, and flew over the goal. Berutti AFC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Concepción. In the 62nd minute, Nunez Chayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Cordarius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Berutti AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Raul Ostadar hit a great ball. Nunez Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gaudencio Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Nunez Chayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Oro got free with Gaudencio Cordarius in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Toro in the 81st minute of play. Roberto Toro might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Araoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berutti AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concepción the free kick. In the 91st minute, Gaston Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Berutti AFC's Raul Ostadar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Berutti AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Concepción.
