In the 7th minute, Geronimo Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 9 in the game by Gaston Berbiz from a close distance when the talented Candido Karlo managed to make a qualified save. Palantelén AFC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Palantelén AFC's Gregorio Artal got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Cipriano Bide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palantelén AFC and the Arenal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geronimo Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Florencio Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Selmo in the 16th minute of the match. Arenal FC's Florencio Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Selmo in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Victoriano Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palantelén AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rdth minute of the game Gaston Berbiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palantelén AFC's Candido Karlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Arenal FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cipriano Rik hit a great ball. Palantelén AFC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Arenal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valentin Teofilio took the corner. After taking down the ball on Palantelén AFC's corner Valentin Teofilio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florencio Gutierrez quite easily take care of the ball. Gaston Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Florencio Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Selmo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Gutierrez. Florencio Gutierrez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Florencio Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Geronimo Roldan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palantelén AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Berbiz in the 53rd minute of play forced Palantelén AFC's goalkeeper Candido Karlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Karlo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Arenal FC's Jose Uhin. But to his dismay, Jose Uhin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Arenal FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Erasmo Endura hit a great ball. Cipriano Rik's late challenge caught a Palantelén AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Rik helped the player get up and apologised. Victoriano Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Florencio Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Candido Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Geronimo Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
