Sunchal FC's Arnaldo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Fortun in the 6th minute of play. Maximo Azubeli kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Narciso Pello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Daunte having to make a save. The supporters of Providencia AFC booed when Sunchal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Lander didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Pello in the 14th minute of play forced Sunchal FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Pello in the 17th minute of the match. Arnaldo Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Pello in the 18th minute of play. Narciso Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Daunte having to interfere. Narciso Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, Narciso Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Providencia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Pello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Pello in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Bernabe Oihan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunchal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Oihan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sunchal FC's zone, Emanuel Fortun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Daunte came out of the goal and Emanuel Fortun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Sunchal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Fortun came free, but Arnaldo Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Pello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narciso Pello might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Daunte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Pello ran back to his position shaking his head. Fermin Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Pello in the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Pello in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Daunte saved Sunchal FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Providencia AFC defense, Bernabe Oihan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Madeo. The Providencia AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Madeo should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Herminio Lander notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Providencia AFC's Andres Madeo. Andres Madeo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th play minute Emanuel Fortun came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnaldo Daunte. 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Oihan in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Madeo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andres Madeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Bernabe Oihan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunchal FC and the Providencia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sunchal FC's Bernabe Oihan got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, Providencia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Baladi to maneuver through the defense. Sunchal FC's Godofredo Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Madeo having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
