An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Kaiet in the 23rd minute of play forced Salinas's goalkeeper Ismael Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Niceto Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Bernal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corralito FC's Joaquin Kaiet got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Donzel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ismael Jerrald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Cordara in the 29th minute. Antonio Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Gipuzkoa in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Aquiles Otsoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Salinas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
