Salinas's Ismael Jerrald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Qwinton in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Salinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Dacio to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Celedonio James ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Jerrald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ismael Jerrald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Qwinton in the 13th minute of play. Cosme Rios hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Salinas's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio James came free, but Ismael Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Niceto Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Sarandí FC's Prospero Llope got control of the ball when Sergio Loreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Eriberto Orland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Salinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Orland to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Salinas's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Qwinton came free, but Ismael Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sarandí FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gaudencio Emeterio hit a great ball. Sergio Loreto scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Llope, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Amador Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarandí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Qwinton was the one to do the kick off. Niceto Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Prospero Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salinas. Eriberto Orland got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 56 played minutes Salinas got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Orland. Prospero Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Loreto in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Qwinton in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Jerrald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Niceto Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Qwinton in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Jerrald saved Salinas from getting behind. Prospero Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Sarandí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. When Sergio Loreto came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Salinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Loreto couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Amador Qwinton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael Jerrald, 1-2. Salinas's Ismael Jerrald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Qwinton in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Sergio Loreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Sarandí FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
