An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Lucado in the 7th minute of play forced Palantelén AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luisito Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th play minute Ildefonso Manny came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benicio Nuno. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Chano in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Lonzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Evaristo Lonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reynaldo Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Culampajá's goalkeeper Benicio Nuno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Manny. 41 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Manny dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Nuno, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Manny got free with Benicio Nuno in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Reynaldo Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Lonzo having to interfere. Culampajá's Benicio Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Blasco in the 56th minute of play. Benicio Nuno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Manny in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Culampajá's Gaspar Salbatore got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Gilberto Blasco struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Despite this Benicio Nuno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benicio Nuno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Blasco in the 69th minute of play.
