Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilberto Blasco started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Gilberto Blasco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cipriano Nerio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Gilberto Blasco came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Palantelén AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Blasco couldn't finish the play. Honorio Larra's late challenge caught a Palantelén AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Larra helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Blasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Nerio was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Ildefonso Manny made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 13thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cipriano Nerio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Celso Sanchez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Palantelén AFC's Evaristo Lonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Gaxan in the 27th minute of play. If Celso Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Lonzo having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Ildefonso Manny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Nerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Amado Kauldi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Evaristo Lonzo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Florentina's Celso Sanchez. But to his dismay, Celso Sanchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cipriano Nerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Manny went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Palantelén AFC were furious when Javier Balesio was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Palantelén AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Florentina:s goal. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Florentina. Cayetano Gomesano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Evaristo Lonzo. 2-3. Celso Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Lonzo having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, Florentina's Celso Sanchez made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Lonzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 75 minutes, Celso Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Celso Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Nerio having to interfere. When Florentina's Agustin Gaxan in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palantelén AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ildefonso Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Florentina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
