Tadeo Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Alfredo Mercurio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Tomas Perpinya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luciano Viator hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Segundo Lleir charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Lleir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Figueroa's Segundo Lleir got a free kick in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Figueroa's goalkeeper Tomas Perpinya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Lazcano. A collision led to Jarillito AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Isidro Cuarto hit a great ball. Jarillito AFC's Matias Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvano Berriotxoa's late challenge caught a Figueroa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Berriotxoa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jarillito AFC's Silvano Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience held their breath when Luciano Viator in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Froilan Eguerdi's left hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Jarillito AFC's zone, Segundo Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Eguerdi came out of the goal and Segundo Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Jaime Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Eguerdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Figueroa's Fernando Goi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jarillito AFC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Jarillito AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Figueroa's Fernando Goi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Froilan Eguerdi. If Matias Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Figueroa got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Francho. Segundo Lleir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Froilan Eguerdi made a huge save. Jarillito AFC's Froilan Eguerdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Jarillito AFC from getting a goal against them. Jaime Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Goi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Froilan Eguerdi. Jarillito AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isidro Cuarto charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Cuarto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Jarillito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Cuarto. Tadeo Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Froilan Eguerdi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 99th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leo Isaio. The Jarillito AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Figueroa's performance. The match ended with a win for Figueroa.
