Danilo Eneas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Rey during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute of the match Rafael Lano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Orland skillfully saved the ball. Maximo Calisto's late challenge caught a Varela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Calisto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Orán AFC's Maximo Calisto got a free kick in the 7th minute. Anacleto Cibran charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Cibran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Orán AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Orán AFC:s Claudio Orland showed great skill when he stopped Rafael Lano:s penalty. With an all-out effort, Orán AFC's Remigio Baristo threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Natalio Gentza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th minute of the match, Danilo Eneas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remigio Baristo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcelino Teyo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Teyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Orán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Teyo. 23 minutes into the match, Varela's goalkeeper Remigio Baristo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Eneas. Vinicio Chorche kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Leopoldo Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudio Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Natalio Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Eneas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Natalio Gentza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remigio Baristo. The goal made the score 1-0. Valentin Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Claudio Orland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Gentza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Valentin Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Orland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Seber in the 60th minute. If Natalio Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Natalio Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 67 in the game by Leopoldo Seber from a close distance when the talented Claudio Orland managed to make a qualified save. Orán AFC's players were relieved. Anacleto Cibran was slow to take the kick. During this time Orán AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Orán AFC's Anacleto Cibran to fire away a dangerous shot which Remigio Baristo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Orán AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Varela for a fine match.
