After a rather tough play, Monigotes's Ivan Firmo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Inocencio Mirande was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erasmo Sanson. In the 7th minute Carmensa AFC were awarded a corner. Erasmo Sanson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Carmensa AFC's Erasmo Sanson to fire away a dangerous shot which Inocencio Mirande despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ivan Firmo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Cristo Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Inocencio Mirande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristo Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Rufo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Eyague saved Carmensa AFC from getting behind. When Cristo Tancredo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Carmensa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Tancredo couldn't finish the play. Ivan Firmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Eyague having to interfere. If Gregorio Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Monigotes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carmensa AFC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Inocencio Mirande, was totally fooled by Carmensa AFC's Erasmo Sanson, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ladislao Tebaldo's late challenge caught a Monigotes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Tebaldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Carmensa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Tebaldo. Eriberto Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Rufo in the 45th minute of play. Gregorio Rufo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Eyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eleuterio Cutberto made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Carmensa AFC's Erasmo Sanson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 58th match minute, Monigotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Pes to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Rufo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eriberto Eyague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monigotes. In the 67th minute, Gregorio Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Cristo Tancredo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Monigotes's Inocencio Mirande. Inocencio Mirande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inocencio Mirande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Carmensa AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
