Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardino Oidor started the match with the kick off. Progreso AFC's Horacio Ortle suffered a sore thigh after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Berraondo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ivan Oto hit a great ball. Hipolito Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Saul Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Oto in the 8th minute of play. Osvaldo Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Blanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Ildefonso Frederik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Bernad in the 15th minute. After 23 minutes Progreso AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hipolito Polentzi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hipolito Polentzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saul Blanco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ildefonso Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Bernad in the 32nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Berraondo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Adan Quinito's late challenge caught a Progreso AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Quinito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Berraondo's Adan Quinito got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Isaac Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Berraondo's zone, Isaac Bernad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Frederik came out of the goal and Isaac Bernad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st match minute, Progreso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Oidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Osvaldo Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Osvaldo Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Teodoro Paulin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Progreso AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berraondo the free kick. Teodoro Paulin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Pablo Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progreso AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Terciero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Progreso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Nahia to maneuver through the defense. If Isaac Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Maule charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Maule the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berraondo's Hipolito Polentzi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Progreso AFC. Ivan Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Ivan Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berraondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Oto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Oto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Blanco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Progreso AFC's Pablo Terciero got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Oto in the 91st minute of play forced Progreso AFC's goalkeeper Saul Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Progreso AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Berraondo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
