After a defensive mix-up in Monsalvo AFC's zone, Sergio Chucho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Chuse came out of the goal and Sergio Chucho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Loi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Miguel Artizar sent off a good shot on target. Teobaldo Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Eduardo Walme scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Chuse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romulo Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Loi having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Chucho to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sergio Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Chucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lisandro Chuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Rafel's late challenge caught a Monsalvo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Rafel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Necochea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Rafel to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes, Monsalvo AFC's Joel Macario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teobaldo Loi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monsalvo AFC reached it. Casimiro Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teobaldo Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Chuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Chucho in the 87th minute. Casimiro Katia struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Teobaldo Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monsalvo AFC. When the final whistle sounded Necochea FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monsalvo AFC.
