Saul Cuartio started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Amanao AFC's Mauro Herena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Quintan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliciano Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Peli's late challenge caught a Amanao AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Peli helped the player get up and apologised. Lázaro Peli hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Mauro Herena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigio Quintan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Sucre FC's Saul Cuartio in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amanao AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 21 played minutes Amanao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Lopez. After a defensive mix-up in Amanao AFC's zone, Saul Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Endira came out of the goal and Saul Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Artemio Salomone from a close distance when the talented Simon Endira managed to make a qualified save. Amanao AFC's players were relieved. Mauro Herena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Quintan having to interfere. If Cipriano Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Cuartio in the 34th minute of play forced Amanao AFC's goalkeeper Simon Endira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Herena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Quintan having to make a save. Igor Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Amanao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Cuartio came free, but Simon Endira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Saul Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sucre FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Cuartio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliciano Guillerme to make the kick off. Mauro Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Amanao AFC defense, Eustacio Eusko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Endira. The Amanao AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Endira should have stopped the shot. Simon Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Endira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Salomone in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Amanao AFC booed when Sucre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Guillerme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Remigio Quintan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lázaro Peli was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. Amanao AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
