In the 8th minute, Feliberto Jon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Havier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hidalgo AFC's Leopoldo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Bartoli in the 11th minute of play. Evelio Oihenarte scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Distiratsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerardo Maraman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Havier having to interfere. Gerardo Maraman struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Pascual Havier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hidalgo AFC. Evelio Oihenarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Hidalgo AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mateo Manex hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Hidalgo AFC's Gerardo Maraman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascual Havier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Soto FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nicolas Bernebe hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Hidalgo AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Distiratsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Oihenarte.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Maraman to make the kick off. Feliberto Jon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pascual Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Gerardo Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Maraman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Havier having to interfere. Feliberto Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Soto FC's Laureano Bartoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Distiratsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 65th minute Evelio Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Jon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Oihenarte in the 70th minute of the match. Horacio Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Filomeno Maju from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Pascual Havier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 75 played minutes Hidalgo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Balasi. The audience was convinced that Laureano Bartoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Distiratsu was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Havier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laureano Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Leopoldo Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Gerardo Maraman scored to the left of an out of position Pascual Havier, making the score, 2-3. In the 95th minute of the match Filomeno Maju shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Havier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Soto FC's zone, Gerardo Maraman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Havier came out of the goal and Gerardo Maraman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hidalgo AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
