Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gerardo Maraman made the kick off and thus started the match. Gerardo Maraman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Madaleno having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Laureano Balasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hidalgo AFC booed when Cobos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hidalgo AFC's Filomeno Maju couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cobos. In the 15thth minute of the game Gerardo Maraman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cobos's Zacarias Madaleno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Gerardo Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Jon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zacarias Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Lazcano in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cobos's Patricio Foro got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, one of Cobos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filomeno Maju shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Hidalgo AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Filomeno Maju hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Alfredo Rocendo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Distiratsu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

58 minutes into the match, Cobos's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Maraman came free, but Zacarias Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Feliberto Jon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leopoldo Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Foro in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Romulo Lazcano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leopoldo Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laureano Balasi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Romulo Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Leopoldo Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobos. Feliberto Jon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Zacarias Madaleno made a huge save. After 86 minutes of play Hidalgo AFC's Laureano Balasi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Romulo Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Distiratsu having to interfere. Feliberto Jon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Madaleno having to make a save. Hidalgo AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
