An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Matai in the 17th minute of play forced Potrero's goalkeeper Paulo Gerazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dante Cedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Silvano Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Cedro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Gerazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Jonatan Bortzaioriz made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Gerazan. Potrero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Tomas Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Potrero's Marciano Bento got a free kick in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Silvano Cresconio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Cedro. In the 44th minute, Potrero's Miguel Manex seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Miguel Manex the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Potrero protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Miguel Manex had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Efrain Salbatore shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Cresconio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the 55th minute of play forced Potrero's goalkeeper Paulo Gerazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silvano Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Cresconio couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Bortzaioriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Piñero FC's Tomas Matai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Gerazan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvano Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dante Cedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Tomas Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Matai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Silvano Cresconio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piñero FC's Dante Cedro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Piñero FC's Dante Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Cresconio in the 83rd minute of play. Pastor Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Piñero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Cresconio came free, but Dante Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
