Severino Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Dantel in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Bouvier getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. The referee showed Leopoldo Frisco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bouvier booed when Sarmiento FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Frisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sarmiento FC's Clemente Dantel in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The referee ignored Sarmiento FC's protests and gave Froilan Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sarmiento FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 72nd minute, the referee gave Bouvier a penalty. Haroldo Matai looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Gogo Veremundo. After a rather tough play, Bouvier's Haroldo Matai got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ciriaco Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bouvier walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
