Jonatan Celipe walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Castulo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Quentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Castulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marini FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Poncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Olain AFC's Marcelino Quentin threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Castulo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Manuel Castulo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Quentin. Marcelino Quentin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Olain AFC's zone, Lucas Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Blai came out of the goal and Lucas Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Marini FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Castulo came free, but Marcelino Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Olain AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Anier Quico hit a great ball. When Lucas Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Marini FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Poncio couldn't finish the play. When Apolo Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Marini FC fans jumped to their feet. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marini FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olain AFC.
