Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mercedes AFC's Elias Filipo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedes AFC's zone, Christian Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Aresti came out of the goal and Christian Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Fonda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Basilio Aresti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Estavan in the 12th minute of play forced Indacochea's goalkeeper Zeledon Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Dantel having to interfere. Christian Fonda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Aresti having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Estavan in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Dantel saved Indacochea from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Mercedes AFC's Elias Filipo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Dantel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Filipo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Dantel saved Indacochea from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Christian Fonda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Indacochea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes AFC the free kick. Christian Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Indacochea got a freekick which was hit by Christian Fonda. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Asur during the 63rd minute. Mercedes AFC's Basilio Aresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Orlondon in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Mercedes AFC booed when Indacochea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Christian Fonda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indacochea's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Fonda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Aresti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Indacochea's Damaso Orlondon got a free kick in the 78th minute. Isidoro Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Dantel having to interfere. Damaso Orlondon struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Basilio Aresti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indacochea. After having played for 86 minutes, Damaso Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indacochea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Orlondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Aresti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Orlondon, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mercedes AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
