The tension between the Talati and the Receptoría FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Talati getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Sayveon in the 19th minute of play forced Talati's goalkeeper Israel Orlanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Orlanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Mauricio Boniel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Receptoría FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talati the free kick. A collision led to Receptoría FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Talati's Fernando Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Talati's Ruperto Artizar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Diagur was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Domingo Horado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Llorenc was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
