Elpidio Jerrold hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Iratxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Eneas was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Leopoldo Eneas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Iratxo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Videl during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Angostura AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Videl. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Angostura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Videl to maneuver through the defense. If Baltasar Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vela's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
