Rogelio Patxi's late challenge caught a Sayaco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Patxi helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Anchorena FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Patxi. In the 24th minute Ubaldo Eskuin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Eguerdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Edwardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Severo Tristan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severo Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Edwardo in the 30th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Quilino couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Edwardo was the one to do the kick off. Evelio Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Milian in the 78th minute of play forced Anchorena FC's goalkeeper Evelio Eguerdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sayaco AFC booed when Anchorena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Arsenio Jurgi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Eguerdi skillfully saved the ball. Anchorena FC's Reynaldo Edwardo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
