Calabacillas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Abilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Calabacillas AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alejandro Faro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Abilio got free with Mauro Berasko in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Sergio Lamberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Gaueko was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 47th minute Fermin Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zavalla were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Calabacillas AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filomeno Theodore took the corner. Zavalla's Clodoveo Pio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauro Berasko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Sergio Lamberto made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Saul Faron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Gaueko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mauro Berasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Ireno went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Lamberto in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Gaueko saved Zavalla from getting behind. In the 70th minute Fermin Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Berasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fermin Ireno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Berasko was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Elias Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Zavalla's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Lamberto came free, but Orlando Gaueko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Isusko's late challenge caught a Calabacillas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Isusko helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Sergio Lamberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Gaueko was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
