Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Primitivo Eguerdi got the match started through his kick off. Celedonio Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Eleazar in the 3rd minute of play. If Primitivo Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Campeones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Oihenarte came free, but Julian Madeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Xabier took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Madeo. Julian Madeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dionisio Reno hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Julian Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Oihenarte in the 18th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Campeones FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Senon. Nestor Lauren charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Lauren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Campeones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Lauren to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Vertientes FC's Zeledon Oihenarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Madeo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Celedonio Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes Vertientes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornelio Eleazar who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Cornelio Eleazar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vertientes FC's Celedonio Shantala did a great save. Vertientes FC's Celedonio Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Toribio in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Toribio was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Oihenarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julian Madeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Campeones FC's Julian Madeo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Campeones FC from getting a goal against them. Vinicio Pietro might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Pietro ran back to his position shaking his head. Julian Madeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Eguerdi in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Campeones FC's Julian Madeo got control of the ball when Zeledon Oihenarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Madeo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Oihenarte in the 64th minute. Primitivo Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Julian Madeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Oihenarte in the 71st minute of the match. When Campeones FC's Eustacio Toribio in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vertientes FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Eleazar in the 77th minute of play forced Vertientes FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Madeo having to interfere. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vertientes FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cornelio Eleazar was slow to take the kick. During this time Campeones FC's players had a chance to rest. Julian Madeo was a little too slow when Primitivo Eguerdi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-3. Vertientes FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
