Wilfredo Hodei's late challenge caught a Mogote's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 25th minute of the match Ciriaco Quirce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Florinio skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute Mauro Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Eate could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Augusto Karlo made a huge save. Mauricio Felipo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Augusto Karlo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Augusto Karlo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Eate in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Yacuy FC's goalkeeper Augusto Karlo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Eate. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Dolfos made a kick off. Augusto Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Geleberto in the 54th minute of play. Isidro Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Dolfos in the 57th minute of play forced Mogote's goalkeeper Domingo Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Isidro Eate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yacuy FC's Augusto Karlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Karlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 64th minute of the match Wilfredo Hodei completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wilfredo Hodei a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Yacuy FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Eate couldn't finish the play. Mogote's Domingo Florinio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Mogote from getting a goal against them. Mogote were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Yacuy FC to leave the ground with a draw.
