The supporters of Mogote booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Nisio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Florinio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Ambrosio Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Ur, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Mogote's Isidro Eate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Obeko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute Isidro Eate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Matteo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 76th minute Tiburcio Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Humberto Geleberto took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ambrosio Obeko to make any attempt to save it. Tiburcio Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Obeko having to interfere. Humberto Geleberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambrosio Obeko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Geleberto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mauricio Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Felipo got free with Ambrosio Obeko in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Humberto Geleberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Paunero fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mogote were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
