In the 13th minute, Filomeno Oxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paragüil AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th minute of the match Francisco Che sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Gai skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Madeo in the 20th minute of play forced Potrero AFC's goalkeeper Desiderio Gai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Domingo Madeo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paragüil AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Filomeno Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Gai having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Potrero AFC's Guido Bernad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Romulo Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Bernad in the 35th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Paragüil AFC's Domingo Madeo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Gai was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Filomeno Oxel put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Desiderio Gai. In the 47th minute Pablo Sengrat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Lucian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Bernad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Guido Bernad made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Lucian. Paragüil AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Guido Bernad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Bernad in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Lucian saved Paragüil AFC from getting behind. After 61st play minutes Guido Bernad shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Romulo Lucian and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Lore came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Desiderio Gai could save by the left post. In the 72ndth minute of the game Guido Bernad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paragüil AFC's Romulo Lucian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaias Bakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Desiderio Gai made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Madeo got free with Desiderio Gai in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Potrero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Oxel came free, but Desiderio Gai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Galtero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Lucian was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Filomeno Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Desiderio Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Filomeno Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paragüil AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Oxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Potrero AFC's zone, Domingo Madeo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Gai came out of the goal and Domingo Madeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Paragüil AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
