Modesto Panpili came out of the goal and Gregorio Aurken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Jeremias Resto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Cleto Ponc sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Modesto Panpili skillfully saved the ball. Andres Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Celso Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Birjaio's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Andres Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Abad having to interfere. Celso Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, F.C. Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Birjaio came free, but Celso Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jumial's Modesto Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Maria in the 32nd minute of play. Celso Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Aurken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Panpili having to interfere. With a little luck, F.C. Galacticos's Celso Abad got control of the ball when Andres Merexildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Maria to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Merexildo in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Abad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andres Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rosendo Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jorge Maria came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the F.C. Galacticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Maria couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Aurken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes of play, F.C. Galacticos's Gregorio Aurken made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Panpili was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosendo Birjaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Abad having to make a save.
