Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rosendo Birjaio got the match started through his kick off. Andres Merexildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chañaritos's Ciro Ferrer got a free kick in the 14th minute. Rosendo Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Teobaldo Cugat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chañaritos's zone, Rosendo Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Giraldo came out of the goal and Rosendo Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Merexildo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Giraldo. Benedicto Giraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Rosendo Birjaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Giraldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Andres Merexildo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Benedicto Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jumial. In the 35th match minute, Chañaritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Toribio to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Andres Merexildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jumial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Merexildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Modesto Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andres Merexildo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Jumial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Merexildo couldn't finish the play. If Andres Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Jeremias Resto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jumial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chañaritos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jumial's Jeremias Resto got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute, Chañaritos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andres Merexildo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rosendo Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Giraldo having to interfere.
