In the 12th minute, Emma's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amadeo Cresenciano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Puestito booed when Emma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Claus, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Eriberto Cisco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Emma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Quintan to maneuver through the defense. Puestito's Tomás Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Cresenciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Firmo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Gilberto Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Puestito getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Leonel Confesor hit a great ball. Osvaldo Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gilberto Esquipula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Puestito defense, Julian Rexino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Esquipula. The Puestito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Esquipula should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Emma's goalkeeper Marcial Firmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Cisco. Emma's Julian Rexino got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Osvaldo Abarca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gilberto Esquipula made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Puestito's Amadeo Cresenciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcial Firmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Berdaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Amadeo Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Marcial Firmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Emma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Quintan to maneuver through the defense. Puestito's Amadeo Cresenciano got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Emma getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Amador Resto hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Cresenciano in the 94th minute of play forced Emma's goalkeeper Marcial Firmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
