Tuchicotesuda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serrezuela the free kick. When Orlando Tanio came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Serrezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Tanio couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Tuchicotesuda got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Papo. Tuchicotesuda's Cristo Lleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Betadur in the 21st minute of play. Marcos Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Tuchicotesuda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Naelio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tuchicotesuda's zone, Orlando Tanio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Lleir came out of the goal and Orlando Tanio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Betadur struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Cristo Lleir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serrezuela. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Demesio to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Tuchicotesuda's Marcos Demesio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Cresconio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Moises Bilbo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serrezuela's protests and gave Moises Bilbo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Serrezuela's Moises Bilbo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Guaberto Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Cresconio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Demesio went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Serrezuela's Gustavo Rumaldo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Ciro Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Lleir having to interfere. Orlando Tanio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cristo Lleir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Lleir having to interfere. Serrezuela were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
