Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joel Papo made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Severiano Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tumanas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Handi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Lico during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tumanas FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Simon Lico hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Eduardo Hats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atahona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tumanas FC the free kick. After 6 played minutes Atahona got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Hats. In the 8th minute, Ovidio Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Eduardo Hats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgardo Cesario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severiano Handi struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Maximino Haritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tumanas FC. In the 20th minute Ovidio Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Papo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Severiano Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Haritz having to interfere. In the 31st minute Joel Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tumanas FC's Severiano Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Handi took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Haritz. Maximino Haritz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, Tumanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Papo came free, but Edgardo Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eduardo Hats came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Atahona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Hats couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ovidio Juvenal made a kick off. Eduardo Hats took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Cesario. Edgardo Cesario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Ovidio Juvenal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Handi took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Haritz. Maximino Haritz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Francisco Cresconio's late challenge caught a Tumanas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Cresconio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atahona getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Francisco Cresconio hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Rodolfo Lizardi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Haritz skillfully saved the ball. Edgardo Cesario was a little too slow when Joel Papo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-4. Edgardo Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Papo in the 81st minute of the match. Eduardo Hats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Hats got free with Edgardo Cesario in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Tumanas FC's Braulio Sengrat got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Simon Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atahona's Efrain Frances shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edgardo Cesario but with some difficulty. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atahona eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
