When Anier Pero came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cambaceres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Pero couldn't finish the play. With 23 minutes on the clock, Eleuterio Orlan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Corbett a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fausto Maurino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cambaceres's Gualterio Marquez. 0-2. Baldomiro Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cambaceres's goalkeeper Gualterio Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Arnaldo Ted got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Ospetsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Leobardo having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Ospetsu during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cambaceres getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bruno Ospetsu hit a great ball. Gualterio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Tristan in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Ospetsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Arsenio Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Antonio Macerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cambaceres booed when Corbett was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Maximo Leobardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corbett's Maximo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Endura in the 88th minute of play. The Corbett players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
