Teofilo Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Eriberto Jaume made a precise shot to the right of Urbano Inguma. Obreros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Atahona's Benedicto Bladi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Benedicto Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atahona's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Bladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Inguma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Atahona getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Higinio Weather hit a great ball. The long shot by Ciro Frechoso in the 39th minute really tested Urbano Inguma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eriberto Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Gotzon during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Norino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Constantino Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obreros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Norino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eriberto Jaume came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Atahona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Jaume couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Constantino Norino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes, Anacleto Cordarrol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atahona and the Obreros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Atahona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Cesar Bilintx sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damaso Izotz skillfully saved the ball. Casimiro Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Benedicto Bladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Atahona's zone, Teofilo Hats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Izotz came out of the goal and Teofilo Hats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Bladi in the 82nd minute of play forced Obreros FC's goalkeeper Urbano Inguma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Cordarrol kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, Obreros FC's Teofilo Hats made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damaso Izotz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Cristos during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonardo Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
